The Singing in the Rain Family Choir, founded in 2004, is a boisterous and multi-generational group of friends, families, and neighbors in the Madrona neighborhood. Housing a wide range of experience levels, from seasoned professionals to shower singers, the group is founded on the belief that everyone can sing. With kids, parents, grandparents, singles, doubles, and in-betweens all joining in together to make a joyful noise, the group still manages to pull off 4-part harmonies and ambitious arrangements, while keeping the focus securely centered on fun.
The group performs a wide range of music, from an annual rock concert with full band to a capella folk songs and kazoo symphonies.
The choir meets on Thursday evenings from 6-7 pm at the gorgeous Epiphany Parish Great Hall in Madrona. We normally gather for a ten-week session 3 times a year, with each session culminating in a free concert for the public. All are welcome!
